It'd be great to have a NAV-only iPhone version for those of us whose cockpits are too tight to mount an iPad. The route would be planned on iPad / PC / Web and then synced to the iPhone app via the cloud.

Yes I agree, Skydemon on iPhone would be good. The screen is big enough and bright enough. I'm currently running other GPS software on iPhone 4

The Apple products are great devices, but are also expensive closed systems. Android has double the market share of Apple in the UK, is an open system and has a large and growing number of devices to run on, with many different screen sizes and prices. Apple has a choice of only two - an iPhone or an iPad. I hold no particular candle for either mega-corporation, but logic suggests that moving from obsolete Windows CE to Android would give the users of SD software the greatest range of hardware choices.
